Proverbs 22: 9 says, “He that has a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he gives of his bread to the poor“. Acts 20: 35 goes on to say, “I have shown you all things, how that so labouring you ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, it is more blessed to give than to receive“.
Sometime towards the end of last year we embarked on a project of distributing clothes to the needy. It is indeed so touching to see how what you don’t need anymore can be a blessing to someone else. We will be doing the same somewhere in March. The exact date will be communicated in due course. We intend to give off some school shoes. The school shoes are strictly brand new, unlike the clothing items. Whoever is moved to give a helping hand can be in touch with us through our `contact us` link.
